New here?

Welcome to The Well

We are glad you found us. Whether you have been in church your whole life or have not walked through a door in years, there is a seat with your name on it.

What to expect

Your first visit

  1. 01

    A warm welcome

Someone will meet you at the door, help you find a seat and point you to the coffee. No spotlight, no pressure to stand up.

  2. 02

    Come as you are

Jeans, boots, a dress — wear whatever you are comfortable in. We care far more about you than about what you have on.

  3. 03

    Your kids are safe

Kids Church runs during the Sunday morning service with screened volunteers, and children are always welcome in the sanctuary too.

  4. 04

    Worship and the Word

Around 75 minutes of genuine worship and plain, practical Bible teaching you can use before you get home.

Spirit-filled worship

We are Pentecostal and charismatic in worship — we lift our hands, praise out loud, worship in the Spirit, sing joyfully and practice the gifts of the Spirit. If that is new to you or you are not comfortable with it, that is completely okay: worship and participate in whatever way you are comfortable. No one will single you out.

Our practices & the Word

Worship in the Spirit

Everything we do in worship comes straight from Scripture. Here is what you may see on a Sunday and where it comes from in the Word.

Lifting our hands

“I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.”

1 Timothy 2:8

Praising God out loud

“Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph!”

Psalm 47:1

Singing joyfully

“Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.”

Ephesians 5:19

Praying in the Spirit

“I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding.”

1 Corinthians 14:15

Spiritual gifts in the gathering

“But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all.”

1 Corinthians 12:7

Prayer for healing

“Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him... and the prayer of faith will save the sick.”

James 5:14-15
